Made from a recycled cardboard box, this journal holds 30 pages of lined paper ready for field notes, sketches, to-do lists or thoughts. Measures 6inX7in, and is bound by simple stitching with embroidery thread, and closes with raffia (varies between plain and yellow).
Originally the design on the cover was part of an art project during my first week of Foundation Year at Camberwell, but after it was over, I didn't have the heart to throw it away- as I think it has quite an understated beauty.
And now it's been made into several funky little notebooks, that have a real lo-fi feel, and urban-meets-nature ideals behind it. With the rough cut-into design on the cover, and some graphic words printed onto the original box peeking through on the inside.
