Our vintage jumpers are all hand-picked for style and craftsmanship. Whether it's a beautiful hand-knit aran or a machine-knitted fair isle, each one is chosen with qualities that we love in our knits. Colour, texture, style and fit. If you like our knitting stuff but don't have the time or skills to make your own jumpers, this is just for you. (Or if your friends are always bothering you to make them a jumper, you can cheat! hehe)
Each one is unique so take a look around and find the perfect fit for you. Tag: Says '10/12' but would fit Medium Fibre Content: Jumper is machine knit Acrylic, but embroidery looks like wool and hand done.
Measurements (taken flat) Underarm-underarm: 21.0 inches Back of neck to bottom (length): 24.5 inches
There's nothing super special about the foundation of this jumper, it's a very basic and classic cardigan. but the embroidery detail makes this something a little special. Judging by the back side of the work, it appears to be hand stitched! The petals and leaves are 'filled in' with long stitches, and the thread looks like a wool. I wonder who decided to upcycle this jumper and in what era?
