White Welsh. British Wool Tops/Roving (sold by 10g)
This wool is un-dyed. And it's 100% British and processed at a British Mill.
About the fibre: approx. 31-35 microns and 80-100mm. Just like the Black Welsh, this is long enough to be combed, and because it's so organic, you'll find a stray black or greet fibre too. When these sheep live in the mountains they get VERY fluffy.
Spinning tip: This fibre has a lot of tough little hairs that tend to come flying off as you spin, so I would wear an apron with this. It does spin up beautifully though and I personally found it very fun! Suitable for felting also!
Sold by 10g (if you wanted 30g you would say Qty: 3). If you're not sure how much to get, but want enough to make something out of it, I'd suggest 100g.
